Spencer Adams Jr. Healthy Appalachia Student Fellow Spencer Adams Jr. is just one of the undergraduate and graduate students who are making a difference in the region. Spencer, a 2011 UVa-Wise graduate in biochemistry, is now attending the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Ph.D. program. To see a complete list of the HAI Student Fellows , click here.
